I have never understood how come God chose His special people several times but gave each special people a slightly different set of rules. Here’s a thought: Why didn’t God simply friend the whole world and share His (same) message with everyone?

Why just these? Why not other sinners, such as, for instance, warmongers, hatemongers (but maybe that’s getting a little too close to home), etc?
